2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR TRANSFERS (Updated Information as of January 10, 2024)
The following schools will be open to reviewing transfers for the 2024-25 school year:
- Antelope High School
- Granite Bay High School
- Oakmont High School
- Pathways High School
- Roseville High School
The following schools are closed to transfers for the 2024-25 school year:
- West Park High School
- Woodcreek High School
West Park High School and Woodcreek High School are closed to all transfers for the 2024-25 school year. Exceptions: RJUHSD will review transfer applications to West Park / Woodcreek for students who have a sibling attending West Park / Woodcreek during the 2024-2025 school year. The sibling must be an active student at West Park / Woodcreek during the 2024-2025 school year. In addition to this, RJUHSD will review transfer applications for current West Park / Woodcreek students who have moved outside of WP / WHS boundaries and wish to continue their enrollment at West Park / Woodcreek.
Due to the number of intradistrict transfers received during RJUHSD's initial transfer period of November 15, 2023-December 20, 2023, Woodcreek High School is now CLOSED to any additional transfers (intra or inter) received. This is effective for all interdistrict and intradistrict transfer applications received after December 20, 2023 and all INTERdistrict transfers received before December 20, 2023.
The initial intradistrict transfer period of November 15, 2023-December 20, 2023, is now closed, and decision letters have been sent to families via email. Please be sure to check your email, including your spam folder, for correspondence from InformedK12. You may still apply for an Intra District transfer, but applications will not be considered until February.
An extended application window for BOTH Intradistrict and Interdistrict Transfers for the 2024-2025 school year to any of the above listed open schools is now open: December 21, 2023-June 30, 2024. The review of these extended window applications will commence in February and decisions will be sent via email.
IMPORTANT: If you are requesting an INTRAdistirct transfer, you must still complete the Aeries online enrollment under your current home address and the school associated with it. The online enrollment system is designed to place you at your school of residence and, if the transfer is approved, the Registrar at the receiving/transfer school will pull your online enrollment accordingly to the approved site of attendance for 2024-2025.
TYPES OF TRANSFERS
Intradistrict transfers are for RJUHSD students who wish to transfer from their school of residence to another school within the District.
- All Intradistrict transfer requests must be submitted online!
- Incoming 9th-grade students or new students to RJUHSD must submit a proof of residence within RJUHSD, and current grade transcript/grade report, attendance, and behavior records. If the student has an IEP or 504 Plan, please attach the documentation to the online form as well.
- While we encourage students to attend their school of residence, we make other schools available for Intradistrict Transfer when enrollment space is available and there are unique and compelling circumstances.
- Parents are responsible for their student's transportation to school. RJUHSD transportation bus services will not be provided for students attending district schools on an intradistrict or interdistrict transfer.
2. INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS (Incoming into RJUHSD)
Incoming Interdistrict Transfers are for students who reside outside of the District boundaries, but wish to transfer into the Roseville Joint Union High School District. To initiate this process, you must contact your District of Residence to begin the application process. Applications must include current grade transcripts/grade report, attendance, and behavior records and a copy of the student's current IEP or 504 Plan must also be included, if applicable. All incoming transfers must meet GPA, attendance, and behavior requirements. Parents are responsible for their student's transportation to school. RJUHSD transportation bus services will not be provided for students attending district schools on an intradistrict or interdistrict transfer.
3. INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS (Leaving RJUHSD)
All Interdistrict outgoing transfer requests must be submitted online!
Outgoing Interdistrict Transfers are for students who reside within the District boundaries, but wish to transfer into another school district. Outgoing transfers must submit an application to the Roseville Joint Union High School District for approval prior to applying to an outside District of Residence. Please include a copy of your student's current grade transcripts/grade report, attendance, and behavior records and, if applicable, your student’s IEP or 504 plan.
*The RJUHSD does NOT require transfer renewals. Once a student is approved for a transfer, the student is able to attend the requested school for their entire high school career, as long as the student continues to meet the transfer requirements (good standing with academics, discipline, and attendance). EXCEPTION: If there is a change of residency, then a new transfer application must be completed.
