Prerequisite: Written recommendation by varsity head coach of the student’s sport.
Designed to assist today’s student athletes in balancing the demands of athletics and academics. Areas of emphasis will be on learning styles, conditioning, endurance training, sports psychology, tutoring, sports theories, injury prevention, nutrition, self analysis, history of sports and application of sports knowledge to lifelong learning. This course may not be used to fulfill the PE 9 or PE 10 graduation requirement. For varsity athletes only. Athletes will sign up for either fall or Spring Athletic PE based on coach's recommendation.
