This course is for college preparatory seniors. Course topics include problem solving, linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, absolute value, and piecewise functions, finance, and systems of equations and inequalities. This course provides a path for students to strengthen understanding of mathematical content defined by Common Core Standards. In addition, completion of this course allows students to enroll in college level math course at Sierra College without a placement test. For students entering California State University at Sacramento (CSUS) who score “conditional” on the EAP test, successful completion of this course eliminates the ELM testing requirement.
