3D Animation is a one-term course designed for students interested in integrating technology and art. This beginning course will give students the basic artistic knowledge and technology skills needed to create computer animations. Students will learn how to manipulate shapes, textures and colors while changing motion, camera placement, and lighting. This course does require some drawing and /or photography.  Students will learn to use “Maya” software from Autodesk.  Good story telling is a must.
