Monday 9/26

  • HoCo - dress up like a fairy or wear green! And, join us in the Main Quad (near the Ticket Booth) at lunch for lots of activities!
  • AP Exams - on sale thru 11/1
  • College Visits (in the Student Union) - U of Redlands (1st lunch)
  • Math Peer Tutoring Center - 3:30-4:30 @ Student Union
  • Girls Volleyball (home) vs. Oakmont @ 5:30pm

Tuesday 9/27

  • HoCo - dress up like a pirate or wear red! And, join us in the Main Quad (near the Ticket Booth) at lunch for lots of activities!  
  • Math Peer Tutoring Center - 7:20-8:20 and 3:30-4:30 @ Student Union
  • College Visits (in the Student Union) - Maryville U of St. Louis (1st lunch); Portland State U (2nd lunch)

Wednesday 9/28

  • HoCo - dress up in beach wear or wear pink! And, join us in the Main Quad (near the Ticket Booth) at lunch for lots of activities!  
  • Late Start & Advisory Day (offices are closed until 9am)
  • Math Peer Tutoring Center - 3:30-4:30 @ Student Union
  • Wellness Center - Positive messages "Heart Installation" activity outside our doors in the Admin Quad at lunch to acknowledge Suicide Awareness Month
  • Girls Volleyball (home) vs. Placer
  • Library Closed until approximately 9:30am

Thursday 9/29

  • HoCo - dress up in pj's or wear purple! And, join us in the Main Quad (near the Ticket Booth) at lunch for lots of activities!  
  • Math Peer Tutoring Center - 7:20-8:20 @ Student Union
  • District College Fair - Granite Bay High School 5:30-7:30pm (open to all grade levels). Scroll down to view more details.
  • Frosh/Soph Football (home) vs. Mesa Verde
  • Financial Aid Night *SENIORS* - RSVP due today! Scroll down to view flyers for this event.

Friday 9/30

  • HoCo - dress up in Panther gear (blue/gold)! And, join us in the Main Quad (near the Ticket Booth) at lunch for lots of activities!  
  • HoCo Rally - click link for bell schedule
  • HoCo Football Game vs. Oakmont - wear construction and neon (dress code applies). Extended halftime for special HoCo presentation!
  • Lost 'n Found - table in front of the Ticket Booth in the Main Quad available the last Friday of each month (including lost girl's soccer equipment)
  • Karaoke Club - meets Fridays in R106 3:30-4:30
  • College & Career Center closed today

Saturday 10/1

  • News Broadcast from Last Week 9/21 by the Media Class - highlights of awesome WP activities and previews of what is coming up!


  • AP Exams - Students enrolled in an AP class this fall semester may purchase their exams for May either online or in-person at the Finance Office. Must do so by Nov. 1st to avoid the $40 late fee. Students taking AP classes in the spring may purchase next semester. Click the link for more details.


  • Attention Seniors! It's college season!
    • Financial Aid Night - come out to the gym at 6pm next week (Thurs. 10/4) to learn all about college applications and financial aid. RSVP by this Thurs. 9/29. Flyer 1, Flyer 2
    • FAFSA - The FAFSA window opens Oct. 1st for any and all students who plan on attending any educational institution (e.g. 4-year, community college, trade school). Some grants are first-come, first-serve, so hurry and get your FAFSA application done before Thanksgiving! Check out YouTube for lots of helpful tutorials and help videos.
    • CSU Applications - If you are planning on attending a Cal State University, the application window opens Oct. 1st and closes Nov. 30th. Must have the FAFSA completed to apply.
    • Feria De Educacion - Spanish-speaking families are invited to attend this in-person workshop to learn how the California educational system works. Join them Oct. 1st at Sacramento State.
    • Josten's Video - Learn about Senior products!


  • District College Fair - this Thursday, Sep. 29th @ 5:30-7:30 at Granite Bay High School. Representatives from 100 colleges and universities will be available to meet prospective students and answer questions. There will also be career representatives from various industries, military recruiters, and NCAA experts in attendance. RJUHSD students of all grade levels and their parents are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity to explore their educational options following graduation. We encourage you to carpool as parking is limited. See you there! 


  • Homecoming all this week!

  • Yearbook - If you didn't get your photo taken yet or have a name change for your place in the yearbook, please reach out to Ms. Buljan by next week (Sept. 30). Email at dbuljan@rjuhsd.us or stop by O101.


  • The Cabaret (Performing Arts) - originally scheduled for this week was rescheduled to January 12th at 7pm in our newly constructed building, The Grove. Stay tuned for details and for upcoming information about our November Fall Play (11/10-11/19)!


  • ASVAB - are you still trying to figure out what you want to do after graduation? Sign up to take the ASVAB to see what careers align with your strengths and interests. Stop by the Career Center to learn more! Testing is Wed. Oct. 12th.


  • Back Gate After School Hours - please note that the back gates are locked shortly after dismissal. If you're planning on staying after dismissal for sports, club meetings, or tutoring, please plan on exiting out of the front of the campus. We apologize for any inconvenience. 


  • Update Student Passwords - do not use your Student ID number as your password. If you are, please reset it asap! This not only prevents others from logging in under your account, but also resets to provide you access to more features of your account.


  • Midterms - the end of the semester is coming, and due to the 4x4 schedule, a full year of classes are completed in one semester's worth of time. We only have two weeks until the end of Semester 1 for all classes. These will be final grades posted to students' transcripts and GPA's factored into students' term and cumulative GPA's.
