RJUHSD Families,

The Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD) is asking all families, faculty and staff members for their support in mitigating the spread of illnesses.

With the cold and flu season upon us, the District is reminding stakeholders of good habits related to health and hygiene:

  • Wash hands frequently
  • Avoid touching face
  • Stay home when experiencing flu and flu-like symptoms

We encourage everyone to monitor themselves and their families for symptoms and to stay home until symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. Everyone is encouraged to contact their doctor or medical care provider for guidance if they experience any symptoms.  District staff will continue to keep facilities clean and safe.  Disinfecting will continue to occur at all schools and District facilities. Additionally, please remember the District continues to use MERV-13 filters at all RJUHSD facilities.

The District continues to offer free COVID tests for those interested in utilizing this free resource as a way to rule out COVID from common cold and flu symptoms.  We have a supply of rapid antigen tests that should last through the 22-23 school year.  These rapid antigen tests are available at all of our schools and District Office.  In addition to the rapid antigen tests we have available, staff & students can choose to use their own health care provider for testing services or our local Optum Serve center.  The closest Optum Serve location is located at the Maidu Center off Rocky Ridge in Roseville.

Our Health Offices and our school nurses are glad to help with questions you may have.  We hope this information proves helpful to all RJUHSD stakeholders.
