WHS Theatre Arts Presents “Once Upon a Mattress”; a musical comedy with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer. In this musical version of The Princess and the Pea, Princess Winnifred is an ungainly, brash girl competing for the hand of Prince Dauntless, whose domineering mother Queen Aggravain has declared he must marry a "true" princess before anyone else in the kingdom can marry. Join us TONIGHT (11/2), November 3rd or 4th at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 and sold online only at bit.ly/whsarts.
Rosie the Riveter Club - Come build with us TODAY after school in room 310. For this event we will be building wooden holiday trees. All supplies are provided and everyone is welcome, no power tool experience needed. RSVP by visiting bit.ly/Rosietree or scanning the QR code on flyers around campus.
Senior Portraits: THE DEADLINE is NOVEMBER 6th, 2022. All seniors must make an appointment with Prestige Portraits to get their official photo in the Woodcreek High School yearbook. Book your appointment TODAY! You can choose any photographer for additional photos, however, if you wish to be in the WHS Lykos yearbook you must schedule an appointment with Prestige to get your senior yearbook photo taken. Prestige will have a WHS Cap/Gown/Tassel for your use.
Choir Concert ~ Songs of Peace: Join us in the WHS Theatre on Tuesday, November 8th at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 adults & $5 students/seniors and sold online at bit.lywhsarts. Special Guest; Slavic Chorale.
Daylight Savings begins on Sunday, November 6th. Don’t forget to set your clocks back 1 hour!

Seniors~ Do you need help with your UC or CSU college applications? UC/CSU applications are due November 30th. The counselors will be holding an application workshop in the library during Pack Period November 7th. Don't wait until the last minute to ask for help or turn your application in.
Shape Tomorrow Week This week is Shape Tomorrow Week, a week dedicated to learning about our government, and our voting system. We will show you ways that your voice matters and how to use it once you are old enough to vote. Please check out this candidate information slide show.
Canned Food Drive The Canned Food Drive has begun! Our goal is to collect 12,000 cans to donate to the Salvation Army this year. Bring cans to your second period class, and your class could win a prize! Tomorrow is Veggie Thursday, so bring in any canned veggies for double points for your class! You can check your class can total on THIS SHEET. A huge shout out to our leader so far…Ms. Edmisten’s class who has already brought in 79 cans and has earned 156 points! Let’s ALL put some numbers on the board and start chipping away at our goal! Go Creek!

Spirit Point Update Hey Woodcreek! We have had some awesome spirit days recently so we are back with the updated spirit count! In first place with 260 points are the SENIORS, in second place with 247 points are the JUNIORS, in third place with 173 points are the SOPHOMORES, and finally in fourth place with 122 points are the FRESHMEN! Awesome job Timberwolves! Stay spirited and get those spirit points. GO CREEK!
Attention Seniors ~ Class of 2023: The personal finance course is a GRADUATION REQUIREMENT and you will need to finish it before May. Now that the course is up and running on Canvas, you will have to complete all 4 modules with a passing score on the unit quizzes, then sign up for a time Wednesdays after school in room 123 through the google form link in Canvas. You need to take the final exam in person to pass the course. If you have any questions, see Mr. Shiro in room 123.

Fall Playoffs are in full swing with Boys and Girls Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Boys and Girls Water Polo, and Football all still competing for a Section Championship. A reminder that All-Access and Family passes do not work for playoff games. Anyone planning on attending will need to purchase a ticket online at GoFan. Sales are online only. All-Access Passes cannot be used for playoff games.

Athlete of the Week: The Athlete Of The Week from football is Trent Herbert! Trent is a 3-year varsity starter and letter winner, and he serves as a team captain this year. Trent earned 2nd Team CVC in 2021. He has shown steady, fast and solid leadership this season, and has been one of the many anchors on the offensive line. He has shown great character and attitude throughout his career. He is an amazing young man that his coaches feel fortunate to have as a part of their program. Congrats to Trent, and Go Creek!!
