Homecoming Spirit Days Next Week! Homecoming is right around the corner and we have some awesome spirit days coming up! Wednesday 9/28 is Mardi Gras day so wear your class colors, (Pink:Seniors, Purple:Juniors, Green:Sophomores, and Yellow:Freshmen) and don't forget your beads! Thursday 9/29 is Take me to Rio so wear tropical attire, sunglasses, or flip flops! Finally, Friday 9/30 is our unity day! Wear white to show you support the Pack on campus and off! Let's make Homecoming awesome and ELEVATE our spirit the entire week to get those spirit points! Go Creek!
Class of 2023 ~ Senior Signature ~ The LAST DAY to submit your Senior Signature is Friday, September 30th before 3:20 p.m. Your signature will appear under your Senior Portrait in the WHS Lykos Yearbook.
Stop by the table OUTSIDE the Assistant Principal’s door by the black security gates to pick up your index card and submit your signature.
Senior Portraits: All seniors must make an appointment with Prestige Portraits to get their official photo in the Woodcreek High School yearbook. Book your appointment TODAY! You can choose any photographer for additional photos, however, if you wish to be in the WHS Lykos yearbook you must schedule an appointment with Prestige to get your senior yearbook photo taken. Prestige will have a WHS Cap/Gown/Tassel for your use.
THE DEADLINE FOR CLASS OF 23' SENIOR PORTRAITS TO BE TAKEN IS NOVEMBER 6th, 2022
Link Crew Homecoming Freshman Football Tailgate: Thursday, September 29th, 4:30-5:30 PM. All freshmen are invited to enjoy some food, games, spirit paint, and fun! This event is hosted by Link Crew leaders and will be held outside in between the theater and cafeteria. Please RSVP by checking your student email.
Attention Freshmen ~ Cocoa & Cram for Exams is Wednesday, October 5th, 3:20-4:00 PM in Room 427. Your Link Crew leaders will be on hand to support you with any studying you might need for Midterms. We will also have some delicious hot cocoa to enjoy! Please RSVP by checking your student email account.
Midterm Exams are Thursday, October 6th (1st & 2nd) and Friday, October 7th (3rd & 4th); BOTH days are Minimum Days from 8:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Wednesday, October 5th is a REGULAR DAY from 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Attention Class of 2023: The fall Senior Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:15 a.m. in the WHS Theatre. We will be talking about important Graduation Information. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can stop by Ms. Souza’s desk in the Assistant Principal’s office starting October 13th.
Lock it or Lose it: Please keep your Bicycle, Scooter, Skateboard safe and lock them up everyday. DO NOT leave bikes/scooters overnight or lock them to a gate. Skateboard lockers are located outside the main office.
Come to the RJUHSD College & Career Fair! Our district-wide College & Career Fair is on Thursday 09/29 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Granite Bay High School. All grade levels are encouraged to attend! There will be about 100 college & career representatives in attendance, including reps from community colleges, 4 year universities, Career Tech schools, etc and reps from multiple career industries! Carpooling is highly recommended. See you there!
Athlete of the Week: The Athlete Of The Week from Cheer is Reese Gilliland! She is a talented athlete who can switch between basing and back spoting to ensure her team’s success. She always shows up with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She connects with teammates of all grades to make them feel welcome and valued! Congrats Reese and Go Creek!
Softball will be having open workouts every Wednesday starting September 28th through the entire month of October. The Wellness Center: is bringing back the Anxiety Relief Group. Meetings start on Tuesday September 27th and will run weekly, from 10:45-11:45. Stop by the Wellness Center or see your Counselor to sign up or for more information! All are welcome to join.
Yoga Calm: The Wellness Center is hosting Yoga Calm in the Library Friday’s during PACK PERIOD. Open to ALL students. No need to sign up just show up, hope to see you there!
Bring Change to Mind meets every Wednesday morning in the Wellness Center at 8:30. All are welcome to join!
Fight Against Vaping (FAV) Club will be meeting in room 420, every 4th Wednesday during one lunch. Meetings start September 28th. All are welcome to join!
