► General News & Information:
Attention Students: The state has provided all school districts with N-95 masks. Students can pick up 3 masks in the quad during lunch TODAY! Starting Monday, January 24th, students can pick up masks and Covid testing kits in the AP office. Students are not required to wear these masks or to test, they are just an option.
Aurora Borealis Dance Ticket Sales start TODAY; January 21st, 24th & 25th for $12.00 or $9.00 w/All Access Pass. And sold January 26th, 27th & 28th $15.00 for everyone. Tickets are sold during lunch only (cash or check) or tickets can be purchased online at https://store.5starstudents.com/woodcreek
Spanish Course Challenge Opportunities: If you would like to challenge a Spanish Course, please make an appointment with your counselor to discuss all of your options. You will have 3 opportunities during the first two weeks of the spring semester. Spanish Challenge exams will take place at 2:40 p.m. TODAY January 21st. The Spanish 1 and 2 challenge exams will take place in room 611 with Sr. Valencia and the challenge exams for Spanish 3 & 4 will take place in room 439 with Sr. Ruden.
Aurora Grams are the perfect way to ask a friend or a date to the Aurora Borealis dance coming up soon, or to give a friend a Valentine's Day candy-gram! TODAY is the LAST DAY to purchase. We have 100 boxes filled with candies, origami hearts, and personalized notes. Each box is $4.00, with all proceeds going to Key Club, a community service club on campus! Find the Key Club booth in the quad during BOTH lunches to purchase one! They will be distributed to the 3rd period of your recipient on January 24th. Help support Key Club! Aurora Borealis Dance - A Red Carpet Affair is Saturday, January 29th. All students must submit a DANCE CONTRACT for school dances. If you submitted a Dance Contract for Homecoming, you do not need to resubmit one! If you did not attend the Homecoming Dance and want to attend the Aurora Borealis Dance you must submit a signed Dance Contract by Monday, January 24th in order to purchase a ticket. Aurora Borealis Class Competition Come out on Thursday and Friday from 2:45 - 7:45 and on Saturday from 12 - 4 to help your class compete in our Aurora Borealis Hallway competition! We need all hands on deck to produce our beautiful hallways and class skits, so don’t miss it!

Athlete of the Week: Athlete of the Week for Girls Basketball is Ryan Nair! Ryan leads our team defensively with her outstanding ball pressure and quick feet. Ryan also leads the team in scoring in her Freshman year. The most impressive part about Ryan however is her outstanding work ethic and attitude. Way to go Ryan! Go Creek!

Softball conditioning will begin for all players who are interested in playing JV or Varsity. We will run conditioning on the following dates on the All Weather Field next to the Martha Riley Library. January 25th and 27th, February 1st and 3rd. Tryouts are February 7th and 8th from 3pm-5pm. Tryouts will be held on the softball fields. If the fields are wet we will host tryouts on the all weather fields. Girls Lacrosse tryouts are approaching. Tryouts will be Tuesday, February 8th and Wednesday, February 9th from 7-9pm in the Stadium. You must be cleared through the online athletic clearance prior to tryouts in order to participate.
If you are interested in learning more about Depression, join our group! You do not need to be seeing a therapist or have a diagnosis to participate, this is open to all students. This group will meet for 7 sessions, on Wednesdays from 1:30 - 2:30, and will run February 2nd through April 6th. Stop by the Wellness Center to sign-up or get more information. You can also talk to your counselor.
