ID Card Stickers: TA and OC stickers can be picked up in the Attendance Office, see Mrs. Souza.
Attention Students: The state has provided all school districts with N-95 masks. Students can pick up 3 masks in the quad during lunch from January 18th-21st. Starting January 24th, students can pick up masks and Covid testing kits in the office. Students are not required to wear these masks or to test, they are just an option.

Aurora Borealis Dance - A Red Carpet Affair is Saturday, January 29th. All students must submit a DANCE CONTRACT for school dances. If you submitted a Dance Contract for Homecoming, you do not need to resubmit one! If you did not attend the Homecoming Dance and want to attend the Aurora Borealis Dance you must submit a signed Dance Contract by Monday, January 24th in order to purchase a ticket. Spanish Course Challenge Opportunities: If you would like to challenge a Spanish Course, please make an appointment with your counselor to discuss all of your options. You will have 3 opportunities during the first two weeks of the spring semester. Spanish Challenge exams will take place at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, January 20th and Friday, January 21st. The Spanish 1 and 2 challenge exams will take place in room 611 with Sr. Valencia and the challenge exams for Spanish 3 & 4 will take place in room 439 with Sr. Ruden.
Aurora Grams are the perfect way to ask a friend or a date to the Aurora Borealis dance coming up soon, or to give a friend a Valentine's Day candy-gram! We have 100 boxes filled with candies, origami hearts, and personalized notes, available to purchase January 13th through the 21st! Each box is $4.00, with all proceeds going to Key Club, a community service club on campus! Find the Key Club booth in the quad during BOTH lunches to purchase one! Baseball: Anyone interested in playing baseball this spring must attend one of the following meetings.
Varsity Players: There will be a mandatory meeting at 3:00pm TODAY (1/18) in Coach Conn’s room (440). JV Players: There will be a mandatory meeting at 3:00pm TODAY (1/18) on the blacktop with Coach Gilbert. Frosh Players: There is a mandatory meeting at 3:00pm TODAY (1/18) at 3:00pm on the blacktop with Coach Shirk.
Track & Field: Conditioning will start Wednesday, January 19th at 3:00 p.m. meet in the WHS stadium on the home bleachers side. You MUST be cleared to condition, practice and play; see Athletic Clearance on the school’s website. For information complete this google form CLICK HERE.
Softball conditioning will begin for all players who are interested in playing JV or Varsity. We will run conditioning on the following dates on the All Weather Field next to the Martha Riley Library. January 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th, February 1st and 3rd. Tryouts are February 7th and 8th from 3pm-5pm. Tryouts will be held on the softball fields. If the fields are wet we will host tryouts on the all weather fields. LatinX Student Union Club: Are you interested in having some fun while learning about Latino culture, food, dances, and songs? Join our LatinX Student Union club here at Woodcreek by joining us in our first meeting of the year in room 439 TODAY (1/18) at 2:45. All are welcome, regardless of ethnicity. This year we are planning on making numerous events that will allow our members to strengthen their knowledge of Latino culture. If you are interested in learning more about Depression, join our group! You do not need to be seeing a therapist or have a diagnosis to participate, this is open to all students. This group will meet for 7 sessions, on Wednesdays from 1:30 - 2:30, and will run February 2nd through April 6th. Stop by the Wellness Center to sign-up or get more information. You can also talk to your counselor.
