Ethnic Performances Needed! Fiestaval, our annual multicultural celebration, is coming up on November 12th, and we are looking for cultural performers to fill our stage with music, dance and pageantry! Are you a Bhangra dancer? Do you know a ballet folklorico group? Can you sing a cultural song in another language? WE NEED YOU! Please email Ms. Bair at kbair@rjuhsd.us or stop by room 603 with your information and ideas! Let’s be ALL IN for your culture!

Best Buddies has come to Woodcreek and we are currently recruiting new members. Best Buddies’ mission is to create and maintain one-to-one friendships between people with disabilities and people without disabilities. Attention SENIORS - senior signatures are here! The table to find instructions, pick up your index card and submit your signature for the yearbook is located by the front office. Don't delay and don't miss out on this WHS tradition! Signature collection will run through 9/24. Talk to Ms. Weidkamp in 304 if you have any questions or unsure if your signature will be accepted for publishing.

Senior Portraits ~ Class of 2022, schedule your senior portrait sitting with Prestige Studio NOW! Available appointments fill up quickly, so don't delay. To be featured in the senior section of the yearbook you must take a formal portrait and portraits can be done at no cost to families. Join us for Wellness Wednesdays on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of each month, right after school! Check out our activities for the month on Instagram @woodcreekwellness or swing by the Wellness Center with any questions. Open to all, no need to sign up.
Wellness is offering a group for students to learn about Anxiety and to learn coping strategies to practice when experiencing Anxiety. You do not need to be seeing a therapist or have a diagnosis to participate, this is open to all students. This group will last for 7 weeks, on Wednesdays from 1:45-2:30, and will start on September 29. To sign up, stop by the Wellness Center or talk with your school counselor. We look forward to seeing you!

Girls Basketball open gym is happening on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm! If you are interested in playing girls basketball this year for the Lady Timberwolves you NEED to be there. If you are playing another sport right now at WHS make sure to speak with Coach Harter to figure out a way for you to attend. Make sure you are cleared with Ms. Becker in the athletic office so you can participate.
Athlete of the Week from Girls Water Polo: Senior Riley Eaves has shown great leadership in and out of the water since August. She shut down the best player on Del Oro, leading our team to a 7-4 victory in the first game of the year. She is one of the backbones of our team, both on defense and offense, being one of the leading scorers on our team this past weekend at the Central Valley Shootout. Congratulations Riley! Go Creek!
