General News & Information: 


Back to School Night is scheduled for Thursday, January 14, 2021 via zoom.  Links for zoom classes will be posted here on January 12th.  There is NO HUB on January 14th. ZOOM LINKS HERE


Calling all philanthropists! In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King and his service to others, Woodcreek’s Day of Service is on January 18th, the holiday to celebrate his birthday.  We encourage you to check out these COVID-friendly service opportunities, and serve your community that day. Post a picture of you volunteering on your instagram story and tag @woodcreekhighschool for a chance to win a prize.  Let’s overwhelm our community with service this MLK day!  Go Creek!


The Woodcreek Nature Center is now accepting applications for the 21/22 school year. If you want to be a docent at the Nature Center next year you will need to complete the application form and return to Mrs. Grinsell in room 501 (kgrinsell@rjuhsd.us). You also need to sign up for the Nature Center class when you register for next year's classes. Nature Center Application


No School on Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. 


ID Cards:  If you did NOT get your picture taken during Wolf Pack Days or the Make-Up picture day and still need you WHS ID Card, see Mrs. Becker in the Assistant Principal’s office.  If you LOST your ID card you will need to pay $5 at the outside Finance Window and bring the receipt to Mrs. Becker for a replacement ID. 


PSAT ~ Sophomores:   The PSAT testing date for all Sophomores will be February 24, 2021 with more information to follow. Any questions please contact your counselor or Mr. Hayes in room 127 or email at phayes@rjuhsd.us. No sign up is required, all Sophomores take the PSAT at no cost. 


SAT:  Woodcreek High School will be open as an SAT test center for two dates in the spring 2021 semester - March 13th and May 8th. If you need to take a SAT test and would like to test at Woodcreek, please register online for the test ASAP, seats are limited.


Looking for an opportunity to express your creative side? Well, the First Annual Woodcreek Film Festival is a great opportunity for you to do just that. All you have to do is submit a film by Monday, January 25th  in order to be able to win up to $400. There will be 5 different prizes for 5 different categories, Best Film $200, Best Acting $50, Best Script $50, Best Soundtrack $50, and Best Cinematography $50. Attention former Child Development students: If you have not picked up your Baby Timeline poster from last spring, please do so ASAP (room 435). Left-over posters will be thrown out on Friday, January 29th.

California Scholarship Federation is accepting applications through January 22, 3:00 pm. Please use the link below to apply. Free Construction Workshops Open to ALL: This is a very cool opportunity open to any Woodcreek student! Lennar Corporation will be hosting 3 Construction Workshops here on campus. If you're a Junior, attending these workshops could lead to a paid internship over summer. If you're a Senior, this opportunity could lead to a job after graduation. No prior construction experience is needed. To sign up, please see Mrs Lott in the Career Center by January 26th! All workshops will be in the construction shop located in room 310.
