Homecoming Spirit Week: TODAY (9/23) = POP of Color (Class Colors), Tuesday (9/24) = Blues Day (Denim), Wednesday (9/25) = Woodcreek Rodeo (Country), Thursday (9/26) = The 70’s Day (Disco/Tie Dye) and Friday (9/27) = Rockin’ Woodcreek (Wear Black).
Homecoming Dance Ticket Sales: All students are required to have a parent signed CONTRACT, school ID, fines cleared and money BEFORE getting into line to purchase a Homecoming Dance Ticket. The Contract is posted on the school’s website under the Activities tab then click on School Dances.Tickets are sold during lunch only, tickets are NEVER sold at the door or after school. Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase a ticket. Tickets are $12.00 or $9.00 with an all access pass TODAY, Tuesday 9/24 and Wednesday 9/25. Tickets will cost $15.00 for everyone on Thursday 9/26 & Friday 9/27. All fines MUST be cleared BEFORE 3:30pm on Thursday, September 26th in order to purchase a dance ticket on Friday 9/27. Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 28th from 7 to 10pm in the Gym.
The RJUHSD College Fair is Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Woodcreek High School. Over 100 reps from accredited colleges and universities will be ready to talk to our students and families. Additionally, financial aid and military branch representatives will be in attendance. Food trucks will be available to purchase from in the quad. Student Athletes: There will be a 30 minute NCAA presentation in the theater at 6:15pm. Presenters are the NCAA Directors from CSU Sacramento. For more information contact Janelle Lott at JLott@rjuhsd.us.
Replacement ID’s can be purchased at the outside Finance Window for $5.00; then bring the receipt to the Assistant Principal’s office and Mrs. Becker can print a NEW student ID for you. Students are required to carry a school ID while on WHS campus.
Attention Freshman and Juniors - Sign-ups are now available for the PSAT that will be given here at Woodcreek on Wednesday, October 30th. The cost is $20. You can sign up & pay at the Finance Window or online at the Webstore. All Sophomores are automatically signed up at no cost. Any questions contact Mr. Hayes in rm. 127.

Senior Signatures: Class of 2020 the senior signature table will be set up OUTSIDE the AP office by the new gate TODAY through September 27th during school hours. Please use one of the index cards provided to submit your senior signature. Instructions on how to correctly submit your signature to the Lykos yearbook will be on the table.
Class Remind 101 Accounts! Each class has 5 accounts set up based on the first letter of your LAST NAME. Please find your class Remind 101 code posted around campus. Messaging and Data charges may apply, check with your parents/guardians before signing up.
Graduation Requirement! Attention Juniors and Seniors, you MUST pass the Personal Finance Course online through Blackboard to fulfill your graduation requirement. When you finish all sections and take all the quizzes, click on the final tab to sign up to take the final exam on campus. Final Exams are given every Wednesday after school in room 123.
Class of 2020: The deadline to schedule & select your Senior Portrait is September 27, 2019.. Please visit the Graduation & Senior News page on the school’s website for important information and dates.
College Presentations: Tuesday at PACK- Willamette University, Tuesday at 2ND LUNCH- University of Tulsa, Wednesday at PACK- University of Portland, Friday AT 1:40PM- UC Davis. Interested in the FBI? If you are a Junior interested in a career in criminal justice or CSI, you should apply to attend a one-day academy at the FBI Headquarters! Check your student email for information on how to apply or see Mrs. Lott with questions. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 18th.
FREE Construction Workshops: Lennar has partnered with RJUHSD to offer free construction workshops to our students! These workshops are once a month at Oakmont High from 3-5pm. Juniors who complete the workshops will qualify for a PAID summer internship, and Seniors who complete the workshops have the opportunity to earn a full-job after graduation. Learning these trades is invaluable! All grade levels welcome. The first workshop is Wednesday, September 25th. See Mrs. Lott to sign up ASAP!

Athlete of the Week: Congratulations Reece Todd for being the Athlete of the Week for the Woodcreek Football team! Reece plays slot receiver and is one of the highest scoring players on the team. He continues to work hard every week at practice, and plays even harder in the games. Congratulations Reece! Go 'Creek!

Key Club has over 240,000 members across the United States; if you want to be part of the largest youth-led community service club in the world, the deadline to sign-up is October 1st. For more information or to pick up and enrollment form stop by room 403. Key Club meets every Monday during lunch in the small gym. See you TODAY!
Tutoring: Did you know that WHS offers FREE after school tutoring? IM 1/2/3/ Math Tutoring: Tuesday ~ Thursday 3:00 to 4:00pm room 528. General Tutoring: Tuesday ~ Thursday 2:45 to 4:00pm Library. If you can’t stay after school you can get additional help during Pack Period Tuesday ~ Friday 10:41-11:09 your assigned classroom.
