► Announcements:
Attention Seniors! If you are interested in applying to be a part of our Homecoming Royal Court please come to the theater TODAY (/9/9) during lunch . Because of the overwhelming number of nominations this year (you all must really like each other!), you may not get a pass, but PLEASE STILL COME TO THE THEATER IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING (WITH OR WITHOUT A PASS). The meeting will start promptly at noon, and will last no more than 10 minutes. Please remember that no food is allowed in the theater, so please do not bring your lunch in with you. See you in the theater TODAY; Monday, September 9th.
Student Store ~ Spirit Wear! The Student Store will be in the middle of the Quad TODAY during lunch, stop by to see all the Woodcreek spirit items for sale. The student Store will be open during lunch every Monday, look for the table!
Pack Period Option for (grades 10 ~ 12): If you would like to participate in wiffleball/softball during pack period (9/9 ~ 9/13) you must be eligible and have a current WHS ID card, check in at the blacktop at the beginning of pack period. All the necessary equipment will be provided. . If you have any questions see Mr. Beck or Mrs. Jew in the P.E. Office.
Senior Signatures: Class of 2020 the senior signature table will be set up OUTSIDE the AP office by the new gate TODAY through September 27th during school hours. Please use one of the index cards provided to submit your senior signature. Instructions on how to correctly submit your signature to the Lykos yearbook will be on the table. ONLY submit 1 signature card. Signatures that are submitted incorrectly will not be featured in the 2020 yearbook. Late signatures or suggestive signatures will not be accepted for publishing. Any questions see Ms. Weidkamp in 304.
Picture Make-Up Day is Monday, September 16th in the Theatre Lobby. Passes will NOT be sent, students are responsible to go before school (7:15 - 7:40), during passing, lunch and after school until 2:00pm. If you LOST your student ID, check lost & found in attendance. To get a replacement ID will not be available until mid-September.
Graduation Requirement! Attention Juniors and Seniors, did you know that you have to take the personal finance course online (Blackboard) to graduate? When you finish all the sections and take all the quizzes, click on the final tab to sign up to take the final exam on campus. Final Exams are every Wednesday after school in room 123.
Hey Woodcreek! Get involved with your Homecoming Class Float! Float building starts on September 21st, and WE NEED YOU! Already, we are looking for parents willing to chaperone or bring food, but starting September 21st we will need YOU to help make our floats awesome! No need to sign up! Contact your class presidents for more details. Freshmen: Hali Tyus, Sophomores: Megan Brown, Juniors: Gaby Archila, Seniors: Kailee Bryant.

The RJUHSD College Fair is Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Woodcreek High School. Over 100 reps from accredited colleges and universities will be ready to talk to our students and families. Additionally, financial aid and military branch representatives will be in attendance. Food trucks will be available to purchase from in the quad. Student Athletes: There will be a 30 minute NCAA presentation in the theater at 6:15pm. Presenters are the NCAA Directors from CSU Sacramento. For more information contact Janelle Lott at JLott@rjuhsd.us.
Interested in the FBI? If you are a Junior interested in a career in criminal justice or CSI, you should apply to attend a one-day academy at the FBI Headquarters! Check your student email for information on how to apply or see Mrs. Lott with questions. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 18th.
FREE Construction Workshops: Lennar has partnered with RJUHSD to offer free construction workshops to our students! These workshops are once a month at Oakmont High from 3-5pm. Juniors who complete the workshops will qualify for a PAID summer internship, and Seniors who complete the workshops have the opportunity to earn a full-job after graduation. Learning these trades is invaluable! All grade levels welcome. The first workshop is Wednesday, September 25th. See Mrs. Lott to sign up ASAP!
College Presentations THIS WEEK: UC Merced will be here on Thursday and Oregon State University will be here on Friday. Both of these visits will be during PACK Period in the Library. Tutoring: Did you know that WHS offers FREE after school tutoring? IM 1/2/3/ Math Tutoring: Tuesday ~ Thursday 3:00 to 4:00pm room 528. General Tutoring: Tuesday ~ Thursday 2:45 to 4:00pm Library. If you can’t stay after school then get extra help during Pack Period Tuesday ~ Friday 10:41-11:09 your assigned classroom.

Model Train Club is taking sign ups for new members TODAY through Friday, September 13th. See Mrs. Hale in room 125 for details. Everyone is welcome and it’s FREE to join.
Key Club: Attention Timberwolves! Do you want to get involved with your community outside of school and become part of an Ohana? Then come on down to the Small gym TODAY during lunch for Key Club's introductory meeting for new members, everyone is welcome.
