ID card Stickers are ready! If you are a TA, TI, Athletic PE, CTE and 1st period Off Campus, stop by Mrs. Becker's desk (in the Assistant Principals office) with your ID card. 4th OFF STICKERS will be distributed at the gate when you exit 4th period
Current AP students: The deadline to pay for FALL and BLOCK AP EXAMS is September 15th. The fee for each test is $97. Please fill out the Google Form on the Woodcreek website before paying at the finance window or through WebStore. Got questions? See Ms. Boisa in room 407.
Class of 2020: The deadline to schedule & select your Senior Portrait is September 27, 2019. Schedule a NO Sitting Fee appointment by calling (916) 535-7797 and leave a message for someone to call you back to book your appointment. (No sitting fee appointments will only take 3 head shots and do not get to choose their portrait that will appear in the WHS Lykos Yearbook).Seniors who want their senior portrait to appear in the WHS Yearbook MUST make an appointment with Prestige. You can choose any photographer take additional photos for you. Please view the Graduation & Senior News page on the school’s website for important information and dates.
Flatbed Trailer NEEDED for the Freshmen & Sophomore Class HOMECOMING FLOATS! If you have one and would allow us to use it please contact Kim Bair in room 603 (kbair@rjuhsd.us).
Attention Class of 2023! Freshman Sweatshirts are on sale now! Stop by room 603 to pick up an order form to get yours before the weather turns cold. Sweatshirts are $40 (or $45 with personalization). Turn your order form and money in to room 603 by August 30th to place your order.
Picture Make-Up Day is Monday, September 16th in the Theatre Lobby. Passes will NOT be sent, students are responsible to go before school (7:15 - 7:40), during passing, lunch and after school until 2:00pm. If you LOST your student ID, check lost & found in attendance. To get a replacement ID will not be available until mid-September.
18 Year Old Waiver meetings will be held the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month starting in September at 7:30am in the Mr. Bahner’s office.
Graduation Requirement! Attention Juniors and Seniors, did you know that you have to take the personal finance course online (Blackboard) to graduate? When you finish all the sections and take all the quizzes, click on the final tab to sign up to take the final exam on campus. Final Exams are every Wednesday after school in room 123.
Senior Signatures: Class of 2020 the senior signature table will be set up OUTSIDE the AP office by the new gate starting September 3rd through September 27th during school hours. Please use one of the index cards provided to submit your senior signature. Instructions on how to correctly submit your signature to the Lykos yearbook will be on the table. ONLY submit 1 signature card. Signatures that are submitted incorrectly will not be featured in the 2020 yearbook. Late signatures or suggestive signatures will not be accepted for publishing. Any questions see Ms. Weidkamp in 304.
Community Servants of the Month: This month's Community Servants are Jordan Roby and Annie Pagel! Both of these students are NHS officers and have been chosen to be Community Servants of the month. Right now, these members are very active in fundraising for money for Santa’s Helpers, a program which provides Christmas gifts for elementary school students whose families may not be able to afford them. Congrats on helping out the community! We appreciate all of your hard work!
FREE Construction Workshops: Lennar has partnered with RJUHSD to offer free construction workshops to our students! These workshops are once a month at Oakmont High from 3-5pm. Juniors who complete the workshops will qualify for a PAID summer internship, and Seniors who complete the workshops have the opportunity to earn a full-job after graduation. Learning these trades is invaluable! All grade levels welcome. The first workshop is Wednesday, September 25th. See Mrs. Lott to sign up ASAP!
Sierra College Open House: Sierra College is hosting an open house on Saturday, September 21st from 9am-1pm. They are asking that students and families pre-register. Students will have the opportunity to complete their Sierra College applications at this event! It is free to attend. Register here: Sierra College Open House

Key Club: Attention Timberwolves! Do you want to get involved with your community outside of school and become part of an Ohana? Then come on down to the Small gym during one lunch on Tuesday, September 3rd for Key Club's introductory meeting for new members, everyone is welcome.
Dungeons & Dragons informational meeting TODAY after school in room 435. Come join us for pizza and fun. Everyone is welcome, come check out the club.

Yoga Calm is back! Come join us on Wednesdays in the The Wellness Center during Pack Period (10:41-11:11:09). The 1st Yoga Calm class is Wednesday, September 18th, see you then!
