Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in CCIM3 (see description)
Designed for college preparatory students. Pre-Calculus is a course designed for students who have passed CCIM3 but will not be taking, or are not quite ready to take, Honors Pre-Calculus. This course is designed to further students’ understanding of college level algebra topics. Upon successful completion of this course, students can take Honors Pre-Calculus, Senior EAP, and/or AP Statistics. Topics include linear functions, quadratic functions, polynomial functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, conics, sequences, series. Common Core philosophies as well as mathematical practices will guide instruction and level of rigor.
