This course includes the standards from the Common Core State Standards. Included are the conceptual categories of Number and Quantity, Algebra, Functions, Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. Topics of study include: writing expressions and equations to describe numbers and relationships; solve and graph linear and exponential functions; model linear functions; solve, graph and model systems of equations and inequalities; summarize, represent and interpret data; use transformations to understand congruence; use geometric constructions to understand geometric properties; and use coordinate geometry to prove geometric theorems.
