Prerequisite: Grade of B or better in Chemistry and IM3 and an academic GPA of 3.0 or higher.  This course will be offered pending sufficient enrollment.  Signed AP contract must be submitted by May 1st.
 
AP Chemistry is designed to provide a solid, first-year college chemistry experience, both conceptually and in the laboratory. Topics such as atomic and molecular structure of matter, kinetic theory of gases, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, acid-base equilibrium, chemical kinetics, and electrochemistry are emphasized. Each student is expected to take the AP Chemistry exam at the completion of the course.
