College Board Update Regarding AP Testing

Hello Families,

The College Board has made a decision as to how students will take AP Exams this year. They will be ONLINE! Curriculum and Course-specific changes have been made in regard to the content that will be covered. Details for the Online Testing Dates will be available on April 3rd. Click the links below to find more information in regard to this matter.

We are working closely with the College Board, Administration, and our dedicated teachers to prepare your students for these upcoming exams.

College Board update 3/20:
Supporting Student Learning during School Closures Please be advised of the changes below.

  • Traditional face-to-face exam administrations will not take place.
  • Some students may want to take the exam sooner rather than later, while the content is still fresh. Other students may want more time to practice. For each AP subject, there will be 2 different testing dates.
  • For the 2019–20 exam administration only, students can take a 45-minute online exam at home. Educator-led development committees are currently selecting the exam questions that will be administered.
  • The full exam schedule, specific free-response question types that will be on each AP Exam, and additional testing details will be available by April 3. We'll also unlock any relevant free-response questions in AP Classroom for digital use so students can access all practice questions of the type that will appear on the exam

Instructional Support

Beginning on Wednesday, March 25, students and teachers can attend free, live AP review courses, delivered by AP teachers from across the country.
