Suicide Prevention Video Bulletin Announcement

In our world today, rates of depression and suicide among teens are skyrocketing. In an effort to reverse this trend, the State of California has mandated suicide prevention education for every middle school and high school student in California. The Granite Bay Peer Counselors are in the process of putting together a suicide prevention awareness video to be shown at the beginning of next school year. And we need your help.We want this video to represent Granite Bay students specifically and address this issue right here on our campus. We are looking for students who are willing to talk about their past or present experiences with depression. Your voice and story will help spread awareness and could possibly save a life. If you are willing to share your story, please contact Ms. Elkin by emailing her or visiting room 812. Thank you so much.
