RJUHSD Happenings...

Woodcreek High School held their annual Murph Challenge to support the Wounded Warrior Project on Memorial Day which had around 100 people in attendance and raised over $1,100 for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Local ABC 10 news covered the event and here is a link to one of the interviews, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeEyGb-fhYs.    Overall, with the military personnel on site, WHS cheer team, teacher volunteers and all the participants, the event couldn't have gone better.

We are thrilled to announce that Roseville High School has been revalidated as an AVID National Demonstration School! This means RHS is one of only 203 AVID National Demonstration Schools across the country, a designation and high honor that demonstrates RHS's excellence in implementing the AVID program across all grade levels. This includes providing rigorous academic courses, implementing AVID methodologies such as Cornell note-taking, inquiry, collaboration, and organization skills, as well as fostering a college-going culture throughout the school community.

Thank you to all the AVID staff dedicated to making this program a game changer for our students!

SHOP WITH A COP DAY!

The RJUHSD SROs and other Roseville Police Department officers joined together with Dick's Sporting Goods for our annual Shop with a Cop event! This year, 15 students were nominated from around the district for their high academic standing. These students shopped til they dropped with our men and women in blue, enjoying a day of being rewarded for their achievements.

Our partnership with RPD and our SROs means more than just campus safety. The relationships they build with our students make an impact that can last a lifetime. Thank you for all you do, RJUHSD SROs!
