• Technology Purchasing Guide

Welcome to RJUHSD Technology Services’ Technology Purchasing Guide. The purpose of this guide is to provide district staff with standardized and comprehensive information regarding the purchasing and use of technology around the district.  The Technology Services Department provides technical expertise and support of networking, computing, software licensing, and other technologies that are currently in use district-wide.  In order to maintain network and application integrity, Technology Services is charged with overseeing technology acquisitions that are sustainable, compatible with existing systems, and can be efficiently supported.

These guidelines are necessary in order to manage the total district costs including those related to new acquisitions, support, and replacement. Each piece of hardware, software, and network connectivity incurs costs related to acquisition, installation, upgrading, support, software licensing, Internet connection, etc.
