PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM
Learn to draw blood samples and handle specimens in a clinical laboratory or public health setting. Program is approved by the California Department of Public Health to attain the CPT1 license. Complete program in as fast as 6 weeks!

Clinical Medical Assistant PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Medical Assistant program, provided in partnership with CalRegional at 400 Sunrise Avenue Suite 220, consists of 160 hours of classroom instruction followed by a 160-hour externship.
Students will be trained to:
Assist the physician with patient care
Administer medications and take vital signs
Schedule patients
Manage the front officeStudents are placed in a 160-hour externship after completion of the classroom portion of the program. Students are required to be available full-time, Monday through Friday, to be placed.
This course prepares students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Phlebotomy Technician PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Phlebotomy Technician Program, provided in partnership with CalRegional consists of 104 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on training at our patient service lab/center.
Students will be trained to:
Perform venipuncture, butterfly and syringe methods; Locate arteries and veins; Identify and Prepare Patients; Understand and Apply standard precautions between Phlebotomist and patient; Learn proper specimen handling for quality assurance.
This program satisfies all training guidelines established by the California Department of Health--Laboratory Field Services.
Graduates will be prepared to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician Exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Exam prep with an interactive study guide is included.
