Roseville Joint Union High School District

Excellence in Education

Under direction of Business Services, the Transportation Department provides service for approximately 2,800 students, including District students and Roseville City School District students. The department also contracts with other districts and municipalities within the Roseville community. The operations include full repair, service, and maintenance of buses and other District fleet vehicles.

ELIGIBILITY. Busing is provided for students living beyond the District-mandated 3-mile walking area who have purchased either a bus pass or courtesy tickets. Inter-district and intra-district transfer students do not qualify for district transportation.
A BUS PASS OR COURTESY TICKET IS REQUIRED for admittance to the bus. All students must either show a pass or present a ticket every time they board the bus. The first 5 days of school ONLY are a grace period during which students may ride without a bus pass or ticket.

BUS PASS PURCHASING. Refer to Bus Pass Forms & Route Information webpage for instructions. (See BUS PASS FORMS & ROUTES at left.)

Courtesy Ticket Booklets. Eligible students may purchase ticket booklets through either the school office or the Transportation Department. Single tickets may be purchased only at school. Please note that students must show a current school ID or class schedule when presenting a ticket to the bus driver.
