As of 31 October 2017, the Roseville High School Trap Team is folding. We have been unable to locate an adequate number of coaches to be responsible for all the practices and competitions involved in keeping the team active. Hopefully, the team will reconstitute in the future. Thanks for all the memories.
The Roseville High School Trap Team has completed ten seasons of competition. Our team has grown every year since we began and we look forward to another great year in 2017 - 2018. Our first and foremost concern is the safety of our participants. What we have found is that participation in trapshooting helps with concentration, focus and discipline.
We are in the process of looking for new coaches for our team. If you are interested in becoming an NRA Certified Shotgun Coach or if you already are one, we would love to have your help with the team. Contact Mr. Coleman and let him know.
The team begins recruitment with Club Rush in August. We will begin new shooter training and practice sometime in early November. With returning shooter practice beginning shortly thereafter. The competition season runs from mid-March through the middle of June and the State Championships and the US Open Championships in Las Vegas in mid-July.
Potential expenses for a season of Trap. Expenses will vary depending on level of participation. Most expenses are "pay-as-you-go", with the only exception of the Club Fee of $25.00, which can be paid at Student Services in the Admin building..
