I teach in order to spark curiosity in students so they can pursue lifelong learning and have the skills necessary to achieve their goals. 

While I was growing up, my dad was in the US Army, so we moved around every few years. This constant movement sparked an interest in traveling and experiencing the wide variety of people and cultures all around the world. I am always seeking out new perspectives due to my childhood experiences, and I hope to help students see how education can broaden their figurative horizons. I am the oldest of three siblings, and I enjoy spending my free time traveling, playing softball two times a week, getting together with friends for board games, and petting my dog and cat. 2022-23 is my first year at West Park, and I am so excited to be a part of a staff with so much energy and dedication.
