Hello Titans!

My name is Sandy James and I am a Computer Technology Education (CTE) teacher here at Antelope High School. I started teaching in 1998 and I taught science until 2014. This is my third year at Antelope and I am looking forward to many more!

Teaching has been my life's passion. I have a Masters Degree in Science Education, and that is where I have spent the majority of my career teaching Physics and Earth Science. I also hold a CTE credential in Information Technology as well as multiple certifications in computer science including, Computer Science Essentials, Computer Science Principles, Computer Science A, and Cybersecurity. 

Career Technology Education is a great link for learners to experience and learn workplace skills. My classroom is a safe learning environment where I expect the students to challenge themselves and their programming skills. The students work in teams and pairs to replicate the work environment when they develop games, programs, and apps.  

Outside of the classroom, I love to travel, bake, program, and spend time with family.  I enjoy watching the NFL. My team is the Chicago Bears, and I also enjoy baseball. My team is the Giants. I look forward to watching the Titans play this year!
