When checking the daily notification spreadsheets to the left, if there are dates entered in your child's specific teacher/period slot it means we have been alerted that your child may have been exposed to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19. If your child did not attend in-person classes, or school-related activities on the dates listed, there is no action required. If your student was present in the classes on the dates listed, please read below.
What does this mean for your child?
- Your child may remain in school and participate in school-sponsored activities unless they develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19.
- Your child must continue to wear a mask indoors per school, local, and state requirements.
- It is recommended to get your student tested: students, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status or prior infection, should get tested for COVID-19 with at least one diagnostic test obtained within 3-5 days after last exposure or sooner if your child starts to show symptoms. You may schedule your test at an OptumServe Testing Site by calling (888) 634-1123 or by visiting www.lhi.care/covidtesting. The testing center is located at Maidu Activity Center – 1960 Johnson Ranch Drive, Roseville 95661 or use any of our district sites for testing. Over-the-counter (at-home) FDA emergency-approved tests may also be used, such as those distributed by the District to students.
- If your child develops symptoms of COVID-19 or tests positive for COVID-19, please ensure they isolate at home immediately and notify the school office right away at email@example.com and/or 916-782-3781. Please also notify your student’s extra-curricular activity director(s).
For questions and concerns, please email us, visit our website oakmont.org or call us at 916-782-3781. Due to high call volumes, it is recommended that you email first.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment.
