My name is Mrs. McCurley and I have been teaching since 2016. After graduating from high school I went to UC Davis and completed my Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. I then continued my education at UCD and earned both my teaching credential and master's degree there. Since then, I have been teaching biology, chemistry, and physiology in the classroom. I have now taught in 2 districts; Vacaville Unified and RJUHSD. 

I actually grew up in Roseville and graduated from Woodcreek High School, so I am very excited to be back in the district; this time as a VIKING! I am excited to continue to teach science and get students excited with labs. When I am not in the classroom you can often find me outdoors with my husband and 2 dogs, Zoey and Kira. Zoey loves to play fetch for hours and Kira is a runner (she even goes on my runs with me). I like many activities including hiking, running, yoga, soccer, dancing, traveling, disc golf, reading, puzzling, and weekly game nights with friends. My husband and I are both very close with our families so you can often find us hanging out with them on the weekends.
