Mrs. Nicole Juarez
Nicole Juarez is a graduate of the Oakmont Health Academy in its early years. She worked for Dignity Health for seven plus years following high school graduation. She holds a Bachlors of Science in Psychology with an emphasis is Applied Behavioral Therapy and a certification in autism. She also holds a Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential in Medical Science and Technology. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart who is also another Oakmont Health Academy graduate from her class. She has two daughters and they have a farm in Orangevale where they enjoy playing with their farm animals, riding quads, and playing softball and volleyball.
She has worked for many schools and programs over the years providing support to individuals with challenges. She is a published author of five children's books and has completed her book series on Demystifying Special Needs to peers in the classroom called ‘Understanding The Beauty Of Special Needs’ for lower elementary aged children. She started working for Oakmont in spring of 2016, teaching a new class called Medical Assisting Certification Readiness. She was then offered the position of Academy Assistant in the summer of 2017. She is also an Instructor at Sierra College who teaches Introduction to Allied Health-20. She hopes to help create a mental health component to the academy and is honored to be working beside her former teachers.
