Mrs. Lisa Stanley
I have always been in education, and I have always loved it. Since beginning my teaching career in 1994, providing challenging, enriching, and engaging learning experiences for my students has always been my priority. I believe that every student has the potential to learn at high levels, and I continually strive to create opportunities for them to access this potential. I taught in Southern California public schools for two years before moving to the Sacramento area in 1996. Since then, I have taught students in both the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District and the Roseville Joint Union High School District.
As an assistant principal at Granite Bay High School, I am honored to be a part of the excellence established by all staff members, and it is my greatest hope to continue to contribute to that excellence for many years to come. I am a firm believer in effective systems that maximize the student learning experience. I am proud to work and to collaborate in a school culture that encourages continuous improvements for teachers and students and am inspired to assist in the development of environments that encourage open communication with colleagues, students, and families. The students, staff, and community of Granite Bay High School are my inspiration and my motivation. Having the opportunity to be a part of their lives is the greatest honor of my life.
