I was born and raised in Rocklin, CA and attended Rocklin High School, class of 2008. I have a strong passion for teaching, math and baseball specifically. I attended Butte College, Napa Valley College, and Sierra College chasing my love of playing baseball before graduating from Willamette University in Salem, OR, class of 2013. The last five years, I have taught math and AP Economics at Ponderosa High School, and was also the varsity baseball coach. My wife, Caitlyn, is also a teacher in Roseville, working at Maidu Elementary.

I am so excited to be a part of the new West Park Panther family, and look forward to teaching and coaching here for a long time. As a Panther, you will soon create your own purpose statement. Mine is the following: "I teach and coach to help build respectful, responsible students through the use of empathy and human-connectedness." It is so important to understand others' views, and we can do this though getting to know each by asking questions and having compassion.
