Why Wellness?
Wellness Centers on high school campuses are a powerful investment in the health and academic potential of students. They provide increased early interventions for students experiencing emotional problems that may be impacting their ability to access their learning. Wellness programs have a proven ability to reconnect students back to learning when health and social-emotional barriers are present.
Staffing
The Staff in the Wellness Center is made up of many wonderdul individuals who look forward to supporting the students, families, and staff. Wellness Staff is made up of RJUHSD employees as well as Interns from various accredited Universities across California. Wellness staff offer a variety of services, which they deliver based on their training level. These services include: individual therapy, group counseling, case management, Attendance Success Plans, community resource facilitation, crisis intervention and mentoring. We collaborate extensively with the Administration, Counselors and Teachers to ensure, within boundaries of confidentiality, that we care in communication about students and families we serve.
