Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to the 2018-19 school year. I'm excited to start my 16th year as a teacher and my first at Roseville High School. I come to RHS after spending the last 11 years at my alma mater, El Camino High School in Sacramento, where I served ten of those years as the head varsity football coach and physical education teacher. After moving to Roseville two years ago, I had a strong desire to work and be a bigger part of the community where I reside. Needless to say, I couldn’t be more fortunate and excited to be a Roseville Tiger. During the 2018-19 school year I will be teaching physical education and health, serving as an assistant coach on the varsity level, and will also be the co-advisor for the class of 2020.
I firmly believe that living an active lifestyle is important to the physical, social and mental health of all individuals and I strive daily to instill those values in my students. My goal as an educator is to expose my students to the activities that they will enjoy participating in so they will be the best version of themselves. Students can do this by having a great attitude, working well with others, demonstrating character and integrity, and giving maximum effort daily.
On a personal note, I've been married to my awesome wife Leslie for last ten years and have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Reese, who will be future Tigers.
