For the 2022-2023 school year I have the pleasure of teaching NGSS Biology and IB Environmental Systems and Societies SL.  I am also supporting Cross Country and Track as an assistant coach.

  I started teaching chemistry in 2012 in South Los Angeles and earned my teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University that same year.  Since then, I have taught Chemistry, AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry, IB Biology and Biology in the Bay Area, Elk Grove, and here at Oakmont.  I earned my bachelor of science in Biology from UC San Diego in 2005 and my juris doctor from UCLA in 2010.  When I am not in the science classroom I enjoy playing outside with my family, running, reading, doing yoga, playing soccer, traveling, and snowboarding.  

Students will be using google classroom for daily assignments and resources.  Students and parents should check grades through aeries/homelink.
