Hello Everyone!

My name is Jeffrey Underwood and I am a member of both the Science Department (Teaching Biology and AP Environmental Science) and the English Department (Teaching EL Intervention). I am proud to be a Tiger and love working with this talented group of caring educators.

After earning my Bachelor's degree at San Diego State University I worked in a genetics research laboratory while I mulled over all the options life had to offer. Through a series of interesting events, I found myself signing up to be a substitute teacher. It wasn't long before I realized teaching was the thing for me! And so, here I am, in my 11th year as an educator and I couldn't be happier!
