BIO:
I was born and raised in Fullerton (CSUF Alumni, 1989), moved to San Diego for grad school (SDSU Alumni, 1993), and moved to the Sacramento area in 2005. After finishing my graduate work in Sports Medicine, and working full-time in physical therapy for five years, I decided to get my teaching credential (Chapman University, 1997) so I could teach and be an Athletic Trainer for high school athletics. I retired from Athletic Training shortly before moving north so I could focus on other passions and hobbies. When I'm not teaching you'll find me outdoors walking/jogging, cycling, paddle boarding, playing tennis, racquetball, and walking my dogs. I also enjoy RV camping when I have a free weekend. Do what you love, love what you do, and remember happiness is in the jouney, not the destination.
