This is my 15th year being blessed to teach and coach at Granite Bay High School.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2002 from CSUS and then went on to finish a Master of Education in 2004.  I also hold a California Single Subject Clear Teaching Credential (with CLAD certificate) authorized in Business and Mathematics.  My passion is working with high school students and seeing them grow and flourish as students, athletes, and people.  I get to do this daily in the classroom as well as on the pool deck as the proud coach of the perennially nationally ranked Granite Bay swim team.

In 2004, I started a non profit 501-c-3 aquatics club (Placer Aquatics Club) to improve the community as well as aquatics at GBHS.  I currently coach for the club and oversee all the operations of the swimming and water polo team as well as the swim lessons program which includes PAC Swimming, the Granite Bay Gators, and Granite Bay Water Polo Club.

I spend my free time with my lovely wife and 4 beautiful children and we enjoy fishing, traveling, hiking, youth sporting events, and working on our property. Our kids love the outdoors and their cats, dogs, chickens, goats, and all the wildlife at our place.  We are also very blessed to have all of our extended family in town and the 40 of us make for a lot of fun!
