Bill Patterson

Bill and his wife Ilene moved to Roseville in 1985. They met at American River College, Bill attended Foothill High and Ilene went to El Camino High.  Their four children -- Andy; Roseville High School Graduate, Sierra College Graduate, Sacramento State Graduate and now works for Apple. He and his wife Amy live in Rocklin with their four children. Amy; Roseville High Graduate, lives in Roseville with her husband Mike and their three children.  Chris; Roseville High School Graduate, Sierra College Graduate, Brigham Young University Graduate and now lives in Idaho Falls with his wife Annie and their three children.  Barbara Jean; Roseville High Graduate lives with her husband in Roseville. Bill loves his family and is happy that he teaches so close to home.

In addition to teaching at GB, he also taught a Business Internship Class at 49er ROP for seven years.  He also has been self employed as an Enrolled Agent since the 1980's. Two years ago, Bill merged his company with Parkshore Wealth Management, where Bill currently works part time.

Bill has volunteered with Boy Scouts for decades, his crowning achievment was hiking to Half Dome and then climbing the cables to the took three try's to get up those blasted cables. The first two times to the cables, he chickened out and the students called him 'Quarter Dome Patterson for a year. Each summer he spends a lot of time camping in the woods and lately has been heading to Idaho to see the kids and grandkids.

Bill started teaching in 1993, starting at Granite Bay High School in 1999. He has taught other places, and LOVES teaching at GB.The grass is greener here at GBHS. Bill is the person that fires the cannon at the home football games.  He enjoys hearing from students and folks about hearing the cannon through out the community.
