Carey Bussey

Mrs. Bussey is in her 22nd year working in education and her 17th in the Roseville High School District.  She started teaching at the junior high level in Southern California and then returned home to Northern California to raise her family and pursue her passion of counseling students at the high school level.

Mrs. Bussey loves to “live, love, and laugh!”  She enjoys her work and spending time with her active family and friends in the great outdoors whenever possible.  As the Class of 2022 counselor, she is excited to welcome students to the Woodcreek family, helping create a place where we learn together, get stronger together, and grow together on our journey towards graduation and beyond.

Here are some quotes from leaders that inspire Mrs. Bussey’s work:

*Abraham Lincoln:Nearly all men can stand adversity but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

*Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

*Mother Teresa: “Be kind to each other; I prefer you make mistakes in kindness, than that you work miracles in unkindness.”

*Mohandas Gandhi: “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

*Maya Angelou: “Nothing will work unless you do.”
