Mr. Bahner is currently entering his eighth year as an administrator at Woodcreek High School (11th overall) and is the Assistant Principal overseeing the Senior class for the 2023-2024 school year. Prior to joining Woodcreek, Mr. Bahner served as a Vice Principal in San Jose Unified School District for three years from 2013 to 2016. Prior to transitioning into administration, Mr. Bahner served as a teacher, department chair, high school and college basketball coach, community volunteer for Special Olympics, and small business owner. Mr. Bahner also serves as a board member for the National Center for Child Safety and Awareness (NCCSA).

Mr. Bahner is passionate about supporting high school students and helping to prepare them for successful futures after high school. In addition, Mr. Bahner is a firm believer that with hard work and determination students can accomplish anything they set their minds to. Mr. Bahner is looking forward to supporting students, staff, and the Woodcreek Community during the 2023-2024 school year.

Mr. Bahner and his family are local residents and enjoy supporting the Woodcreek High School Community at a variety of events throughout the school year. Mr. Bahner enjoys exploring the outdoors, fishing, playing music, reading, and spending time with his family.
