Welcome to WHS Biology or Human Anatomy & Physiology!

My name is Kristin Worley and I will be leading you or your young person through our NGSS Biology adventure or our deep dive into Human Anatomy and Physiology for the next 18 weeks.  I have been a Timberwolf here at The Creek since 2003 and am excited to be celebrating my 27th year teaching life sciences.  When I am not in the classroom I most likely will be outside with my family, chasing the dog or, if I am really lucky, reading a good book in a hammock.

Students, Parents, Guardians & All Student Supporters:

   ♦  We will use Canvas for all class information.   Students will be expected to check this from home after school daily.

   ♦  Each day there is an electronic Daily Agenda (in Canvas) that indicates the daily tasks, items turned in for grading and assignments issued. 

   ♦  Our class notebooks will be used regularly if not daily.   A teacher notebook/template/model will also be posted (in Canvas) for students to use as a reference for their own work.

   ♦ Grades will be updated in Aeries, not Canvas, regularly but if questions occur send an email at your earliest convenience and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.

   ♦ Most classwork will be done by hand but some tasks can be done and turned in via Canvas.  Refer to the Daily Agenda to be certain of the details.

   ♦ Want to see what we are doing?  Ask your student(s) to show you our electronic agenda and their biology notebook.  It is our cherished possession for the entire class.
