Kate Weidkamp is in her tenth year at Woodcreek High School, serving as a visual arts teacher and yearbook adviser. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Weidkamp had professional experience in the fields of advertising and film/commercial production.

Ms. Weidkamp has a passion for teaching and creating dynamic and engaging classroom environments for students to expand their creativity and artistic skills. She believes in cultivating a positive classroom community where all students feel supported to take risks and challenge themselves in their learning and growth. Ms. Weidkamp believes in integrating technology and collaboration into classroom instruction to best support all learners in their acquisition of new information.

In her spare time, Ms. Weidkamp enjoys traveling, painting and spending time with her family. She also has a passion for art history, design and cycling.
