Mrs. Connie Sutliff
Mrs. Sutliff has been teaching at Woodcreek High School for 28 years. She teaches NGSS Chemistry, AP Chemistry and NGSS Physics. She has a Masters of Arts in Science Education from UC Davis. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Siena College. She has 40 years of science teaching experience. Mrs. Sutliff previously taught in Loudonville, NY, Amsterdam, NY, Clayton, MO and in the San Juan School District in Sacramento, CA.
Mrs. Sutliff is passionate about helping students, and about her subject. Her motto is "students are the center of everything she does." She wants students to see how wonderful and valuable science is to their everyday lives.
Mrs. Sutliff has one son, Matthew, who is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at CSU Chico.
In her spare time, Mrs. Sutliff and her husband, Dr. Tom Sutliff both enjoy swimming, reading, bike riding and traveling together. She also speaks several different languages, including Italian, French and Spanish.
