Mr. Matt Peterson, or "Mr. P" to his students, has been a Teacher for 30+ years-he is starting his 20th year at Woodcreek HS in 2019-2020. Mr. P is rooted in the community as well, calling Roseville home for 15 years. Mr. Peterson's two sons (the "Rock Star" & the "Rocket Scientist") hold diplomas from WHS, so he has experienced Woodcreek HS as a parent as well. Over the years, Mr. Peterson has been a WHS participant as Department Coordinator, Site Council Member & President, Booster Club Member-Jazz Band, Winter Percussion, Robotics, WaterPolo/Swimming, CMP, Archery, Woodcreek Lacrosse Club Coach & Board Member, & Woodcreek Lacrosse Club School Liaison.

Along with all WHS Teachers, Mr. P is passionate about the academic success and well-being of of his students. He strives daily to find the positive aspects and lessons to pass on to students, staff, parents and the community-all with energy, humor and professionalism.
