Pavel Kravchuk

Pavel Kravchuk has been conducting choirs and teaching music since he was 17 years old. He currently teaches Choir, Piano, AP Music Theory and Guitar at Woodcreek High School. Mr. Kravchuk is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music (piano emphasis) and a Master’s of Music in Conducting. At CSUS, he studied choral conducting with Dr. Donald Kendrick and orchestral conducting with Maestro Leo Eylar. Mr. Kravchuk is a graduate of the international outreach campus of the Moscow Academy of Sacred Music (emphasis in choral conducting). He is also the founding conductor of Slavic Chorale, a community choir based in the Sacramento area.

Mr. Kravchuk is passionate about choir and choral singing, because it is an experience unlike any other, where people can come together and create beauty with just their voices; there is something special about creating harmony and letting our inner being be expressed and changed through the music. It is this power of music that inspires him to teach choir, piano, guitar and music theory, and he looks forward to sharing it with you in his classes!
