This is my 9th year teaching at Woodcreek HS (after 2 years of middle school . . . ugh) and this year my courses are English 10 and PE 9.  I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ (Arizona Wildcat fan! Bear Down).  The first 15 years of my career were spent primarily in church ministry followed by 4 years as a national presenter for a software company.  I also spent a brief tenure in the Marine Corps reserves and Navy Chaplain Corps.

I have a passion for coaching and have been heavily involved in several Woodcreek athletic programs, including the wrestling, water polo and golf teams.

My goal is for all my students to become better communicators.  I put an emphasis on helping students be CLEAR and CONCISE with both the written and spoken word.  In PE 9 my focus is helping students acquire active, healthy habits they can enjoy for a lifetime.

I am also the proud father of five Woodcreek HS graduates!
