Lauren Feldmann is starting her seventh year teaching dance and coaching Sidelines and Competitive Dance Team at Woodcreek Highschool. Prior to teaching at Woodcreek, she taught 7th and 8th grade in the Fairfield Suisun Unified School District. 

Ms. Feldmann grew up dancing in the Roseville area. She attended UC Berkeley, where she double majored in Dance and Performance Studies, as well as History. While at Berkeley, she was an active member of the Dance Department; as well as on the officer boards of two dance student run dance organizations, [M]ovment and Danceworx. She was a captain of Cal Dance Team which performed at Cal Football, Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball games inlcuding travel to away football games across the country, college Bowl Games, PAC-10 and NCAA tournments. After college, she completed an intensive dance scholarship program at Defore Dance Center in Orange County, California.

Ms. Feldmann has always had a passion for teaching, which lead her to the West African Country of Ghana where she coordinated and taught dance at the Mandy Fouracre Dance Academy in Accra. Upon returning from Ghana, Ms. Feldmann decided to pursue her teaching credential and began teaching shortly thereafter! 

The Woodcreek Dance Department is open to dancers with years of experience to dancers with no experience at all; there is a place for everyone in our dance family!
