Ms. Laura Bullard

Hi, Iḿ Laura Bullard. I am currently teaching AP Psychology and Psychology/Sociology at Woodcreek High School where I have been since it opened in 1994. Previous to that, I taught at Roseville High.

I started the AP Government program in our district (I have a Mater's Degree in Government) and taught it for 15 years. I began both the Student Government program and Dance programs at Woodcreek (in the beginning years, we needed to offer lots of electives with not that many teachers).

I thoroughly enjoy working with teenagers and love to see where they go in life. I also am the faculty advisor for the Woodcreek Key Club which I started over 20 years ago and that service club had over 120 members last year. These young people are involved in doing community service around the area and are part of the Roseville Kiwanis Club

In addition to my work at Woodcreek, I also work with the 4-H program and our family is currently raising a dog (Jodie) for Canine Companions for Independence (headquarters: Santa Rosa, California) with the hope that she will grow up to assist either a physically handicapped, hearing-impaired person, or one of our troops who has PTSD.  We hope she will bring to them the same joy that she is bringing to us. The last CCI pup we raised (Lynn) was placed with one of our veterans who has PTSD, and she is making a wonderful difference in his life.

I am married to Wayne Molebash who was a teacher at Silverado Middle School (and Dry Creek Elementary and Antelope Crossing before that). I have two children who both graduated from Woodcreek High School and played numerous sports here.  They also had the extreme benefit of having been able to take numerous AP classes here are Woodcreek, and both of them were able to graduate college in less than 4 years because of it.  (My son graduated from San Diego State and my daughter just recently from Oregon State.  So I not only have extensive training in AP in Government, and Economics.  Psychology, but I also know the ins and outs of the benefits that AP classes and passing the exams can provide.

Here's to a great year!
