My name is Dave Nelson and I teach ngss biology at AHS. This is my 16th year teaching science along with a few technology classes. I have earned my Masters of Science degree in Brain-Based Teaching from NOVA Southeastern University and my Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Technology from Humboldt State University.  My passions in life are my family, learning about science and being in the trees. On most weekends, you will find me in the forests of Lake Tahoe; hiking, skiing, camping, or relaxing.
